Taming the Brew.
After two cupful of joes, i am almost through with the Friday unpacking of the year before. And ready to unzip the things that were conceptually on paper, searing steady for the jumping off the grill and off to being devoured on a daily basis.
Starting with the mug, i am now ready to keep pace with the design that i had on blueprint, white boarded to death, and finally been able to write process and hefty budgets for. I feel, after overdoing the expectations, and underdelivering, it should now be flipped to the other way round: you should actually under expect only to over deliver. The hipster in me gets rumbled and roused with excitement.
But the practical hacker, and probably drunk-by-now hustler, are wrought with worry, about overspend, underdone fleet of compendiums, bad colour schemas, and wracked by seriously tight timelines looming overhead.
Luckily, my presents had actually run up to the detail of the things i needed exactly for the adventure of this year: mobile battery, check, passport / travel wallet, check, checkered yellow & blue fluffy mary poppins suitcase, check, colourista hair washes - indigo, mint green & dirty pink (a must have), & lastly, pink & purple slippers, check. (Thank you family.)
So, wishing there were more gadgets to unbox and instead, coming up with paper, pen, and habitat-perused muji-like notebooks in the stationery section, i cough up my ten bucks and get another cuppa, and buck up to take to the mattresses. This is hoping it will actually be enough to not have to write about it, ever again.
The monster tasks are unboxed at last.
